Terms of Service

Who can use 7on7HQ

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use 7on7HQ. If you use the service on behalf of an organization (a league, club, school, or event), you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@7on7hq.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Your account and your data

To run an event you create an organization and add tournament information such as team names, schedules, scores, standings, and brackets. You keep ownership of the content you put into 7on7HQ. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process, and display that content so the service works, including showing scores and standings on public spectator pages you choose to publish.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to use any team names, logos, or other material you upload.

Acceptable use

You agree to use 7on7HQ only for lawful purposes and to run legitimate tournaments. You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to access accounts, organizations, or data that are not yours.
• Probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or try to break the security of the service or its infrastructure.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the service in a way that harms it or other users.
• Resell or sublicense the service, or copy it, except as these terms allow.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that put the service or other users at risk.

Plans, payments, and billing

7on7HQ offers paid plans. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Square. We do not see or store your full card number; Square handles card data. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable charge through Square and agree to Square's terms for the payment itself.

Event Pass (one-time)

An Event Pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks access for a single event or access window, as described at checkout. It does not renew automatically.

Subscriptions (recurring)

A subscription bills on a recurring period (for example, monthly or annual) shown at checkout. It renews automatically at the start of each new period using your payment method on file, at the then-current price, until you cancel. We may change plan pricing or features going forward; if we do, the change applies to your next renewal.

Refunds and cancellation

Event passes and already-started subscription periods are generally non-refundable. You can cancel anytime to stop auto-renewal; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you keep access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep 7on7HQ available and reliable, especially on game day, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may perform maintenance. We will try to limit disruption to live events where we reasonably can.

Service provided "as is"

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 7on7HQ and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using 7on7HQ at any time and cancel any subscription as described above. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends. We may delete account and tournament data after a reasonable period; export anything you want to keep before you close your account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know. Continuing to use 7on7HQ after a change means you accept the updated terms.
